Description
Gardener’s Delight tomato is a prolific provider of many, many delicious salad-size tomatoes. I trialed this variety in 2020 in Zone 10a, and was — just like it says — utterly delighted at how well they delivered through fall and even the following spring after protecting over cold nights!
This heirloom variety goes back to the 1950s, developed in Germany for excellent “resistance to disorders.”
While they’re “cherry tomatoes,” they’re a little larger than most, measuring about 1-1.5 inches in diameter.
These seeds are non-GMO, heirloom varieties. They’re open-pollinated, which means you can save the seeds from your harvest and grow more year after year.
Gardener’s Delight tomato is an indeterminate tomato, which means it will need trellising or staking.
