Description
Bok Choy or (Pak Choy) Cabbage (Brassica rapa (Chinensis)) is fast growing and super flexible Asian green that goes that extra mile in a subtropical or southern climate garden. You can plant this extra dwarf bok choy directily from early fall, through winter, well into spring, and even summer. You can grow this variety year-round in Zones 9-11.
It forms adorable tiny heads about 2 to 3 inches tall, and it’s ready to harvest in just 30 days.
Use in stir-fries, sauté, or make homemade kimchi!
Heirloom, non-GMO variety – allow some to bloom to feed the bees and collect the seeds!
TIPS FOR GERMINATION
For best results, direct sow in well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Sow at ¼ inch depth and keep the soil moist. Bok choy will germinate best at soil temperatures between 60 and 70°F.
