Planting Pigeon Pea Seeds
Pigeon pea thrives in hot, tropical and subtropical climates. It prefers well-drained soils with a pH range of 5.5 to 6.5. Soak the seeds in water for 12 to 24 hours to help soften the seed coat and promote germination. Plant pigeon pea seeds between February and May for best results.
